Indravir Kumar is senior research scholar in Centre for the Study of Regional Development (CSRD), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. Presently he is pursuing his Ph.D. on land use and land capability classification. He has also completed his M.A and M.Phil. in Geography from CSRD, JNU. During that period, he did extensive work on the river system and processes of physical geography. Since M.A. period he has been participating in several seminars, symposia and conferences held at JNU and other places.
