]]> It is said that love in itself is the greatest resistance. In this arduous time when language is also gradually becoming a tool for spreading hatred and discrimination, we have to return to the language of love again and again. The poetry collection of renowned  poet Vimal Kumar is a conscious and poignant endeavour to return to the lost language of humanity while exploring the numerous shades of love.

These love poems are like a reflection of our time and society, where one can peek into its complexities and challenges. No love poem being written today can remain oblivious to the political, religious, social upheavals of the era. The poems of Vimal Kumar have always been distinguished for their resistance and democratic voice. His love poems also have the same concern for our time and society. They, along with their reverberations of love-armoured heart, continue to voice their concerns for injustice and aspire to create an egalitarian society, a society that is bonded and nurtured by love.

Here the carnal desires of a person are also expressed undeterred and he is not ashamed to accept them.

Preserving all the finer, sensitive dimensions of love, exploring all its physical and spiritual elements, these poems undoubtedly become a mirror of understanding the human mind and relationships. To pass through them is to become acquainted with the complexities and fineness of love and human experiences.
