घूंघट, पर्दे और नक़्ली ज़ेवरों के बोझ से घुटी-घुटी सी। दोनों ने तनहाई चुनी पर सच से चौंककर हम कतराये तो नहीं। एक-दूसरे का हाथ थामे बढ़ते रहे। एक-दूजे को जानने, पहचानने से चला सिलसिला समझने और महसूसने तक पहुंचा। फिर ढलने और पिघलने तक। बाहिर बरसों और यूं सदियों का सफ़र करते हम इकाई में रच-बस गये। अपने ही ढंग से, अपनी ही एक दुनिया में... वो मेरा पहला प्यार और इकलौती क़सम हो चुकी।
प्यार, सफ़र, सिलसिला चल रहा है। चलता रहेगा। हम अपनी एक दुनिया बसा लेंगे। नहीं तो किसी अतल, अबूझ या गुमनाम कोने में एक-दूजे के सहारे जी लेंगे। हर क़दम नयी-नयी बेचैनियों, ख़लिशों के साथ वही सरमस्ती है। जबात की उथल-पुथल है। न चाहे भी रहेगी। इसी सफ़र के बीच इस ट्रायोलॉजी की शक्ल में खींच ली गयी मेरी और मेरी शाइरी की यह तस्वीर यहीं रह जाएगी। हमेशा के लिए! -भवेश दिलशाद

पापाजी से कहना चाहा जाने मैंने कितनी बार
मुझमेंज़ियादा हैं ममीजी उनसे कुछ कम पापाजी
ये अशआर ज़ाहिर करते हैं कि यह एक साफ़ गो, दिलनवाज़ और सीधी बात कहने के आदी शायर की ज़बान है। भवेश दिलशाद ने जो कहा, जो लिखा, उसका एहसास और उसका दर्द अपने दिल में महसूस किया। दुनिया को प्यार की, मोहब्बत की निगाह से देखा और अहले दुनिया को भी। अपने ख़ास अंदाज़ में वह इश्क़, मोहब्बत, दर्द, वफ़ा, रिश्‍तों और समाजियात पर बात करते हैं। मैं समझता हूं कि भवेश दिलशाद की शाइरी के मजमूए का बहुत ख़ैरमक़दम किया जाना चाहिए। -शारिक़ कैफ़ी

दरअसल ग़ाल का मतलब छंद मिलाना नहीं है। दो पंक्तियों में व्यंग्य करना भी नहीं। किसी प्रकार का विवरण देना भी नहीं है। ग़ज़ल भाषा के जिस स्तर को छूकर भावनाओं का संसार रचती है, वह कठिन कार्य दिलशाद की ग़ज़लें करती हैं।
दिलशाद बाह्य से अधिक आंतरिक संसार पसंद करते हैं और यही ग़ज़ल की एक ऐसी मंज़िल है, जहां पहुंचना हर ग़ज़ल लिखने वाले के लिए सरल नहीं है।
दिलशाद के संग्रह के प्रकाशन पर मैं उन्हें बधाई देता हूं और आशा करता हूं कि हिंदोस्तानी ग़ज़ल के संसार में यह एक महत्वपूर्ण क़दम माना जाएगा। -असग़र वजाहत
